Paul Thornton

Mr. Thornton serves in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Thornton served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and was assigned to Balad, Iraq.
He flew more than 53 combat missions. He was deployed to Iraq a second time, and spent four months as the Chief of Flight Safety at Balad Air Base. When Operation Iraqi Freedom ended and Operation New Dawn began, his first assignment was to fly in support of the Iraqi Army.
Mr. Thornton is currently an instructor pilot in an F-16 training unit at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. Thornton graduated from Hermantown High School in 1997 and enrolled in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps program at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
