VROOMAN, Jeremy Dale
Jeremy Dale Vrooman was born on February 27th 1980 to Bruce & Susan Vrooman of Superior, Wisconsin in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was the son of Lori and Wayne Donahue of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Mr. Vrooman enlisted in the U.S. Army on December 28th 1999 and was assigned to 127th MP Company, 709 MP Battalion, V CORP. in Hanau, Germany. He served in the Global War on Terror (GWOT) and was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). He earned the rank of Staff Sergeant.
SSGT Vrooman was married to Latrecia and they had a family when he was killed in action on July 15th 2008, in Baghdad, Iraq. He was repatriated and buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
