He is the son of Laurie Roberts and Michael Polson, both of Duluth, Minnesota. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 2005.

Army Reserve Pvt. Francis Polson has returned after being deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 2005 and has served in the military for two years.
