Mr. Teachworth served in the Minnesota Air National Guard, as part of the 148th Fighter Wing based out of Duluth, Minnesota, for 38 years as an Aircraft Mechanic.

He retired in September 2002. After retiring from the military, he continued working at the 148th in the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory until April 2006.

He was born on October 2, 1942, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Wayne, Sr., and Genevieve Teachworth.

Mr. Teachworth died at age 65 on May 16, 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota.
