Richard Lomoe

In 1961, Mr. Lomoe enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard, 148th Fighter Group. Following basic and technical training, he was hired full-time at the Air National Guard Base, where he remained employed until his retirement in September 1994.
His rank was Chief Master Sergeant.
Mr. Lomoe was also a dedicated military historian.
He was born January 26, 1942, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Orville “Bud” and Margaret (Turnquist) Lomoe. He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1960.
Mr. Lomoe died on July 11, 2007.
