MOE, Roy Harold Einarsen
Roy Harold Moe was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Einar Bjørnstjerne Carlsen & Birgitte Matilde Olsdatter [Bjerkan] Mo on July 23rd 1921. He entered the U.S. Army on October 27, 1939.
He was with Battery A in the 125th Field Artillery Battalion, 34th Infantry Division in Ireland, North Africa and Italy during WWII. He rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT).
SSGT Moe was killed in action in Casino, Italy, on February 7th 1944. He is buried in Italy.
