VUKELICH, Mike
Michael Vukelich was born on November 11th 1923 to Paul & Mari [Lakner] Vukelich in Orr, Minnesota.
Mr. Vukelich was inducted into the Army on June 31st 1941, He served as a Private in the 4th Medical Battalion of the 4th Infantry Division in France.
Mr. Vukelich was wounded in action by an artillery shell on June 14th 1944. He died of his battle wounds in a military hospital in France.
He would have been awarded a Purple Heart posthomulously.
