VERANT, Louis Laurence
Louis Laurence Verant was born on May 16th 1911 to Joseph N. & Johanna Vieana [Tomazin] Verant.
Mr. Verant entered the Army on January 30th 1941.
Mr. Verant served as a Private with Company A of the Seventh Engineer Battalion. He was honorably discharged on October 31st 1941, at Fort Custer, Michigan.
PVT Verant also served from July 13th 1942, as a Private with the 1318th Service Unit until his discharge on September 27th 1943, at Camp Pickett, Virginia.
After the war Louis return home and married Evelyn Frances [Sheldon] and they started a family.
Mr. Verant died on July 5th 1979 in Hibbing Minnesota at the age of 68 years old. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
