Harvey M. Wahl entered the Army on September 21, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
He served as a Private First Class with the 567th Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion in Tunisia, North Africa, Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.
He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European- African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with six bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.
Mr. Wahl was honorably discharged on October 9, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
