Harry E. Dack
Mr. Dack entered the Marine Corps on June 1, 1941. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel and quartermaster with 2nd Marine Air Wing in the South Pacific Theater. Had a close call when a plane coming in for a landing aimed for a line of Jeeps instead of the runway. To have everyone fed, made an agreement with a grocer to send eggs to the company and charge them as potatoes.
Mr. Dack was relieved from active duty in November 1945.
