Harlow William Tonheim

Harlow William Tonheim was born in Cook, Minnesota on  7/13/1914 to Andrew and Amanda Tonheim. He had 3 sisters.

When Harlow was of age he entered the Army as an Infantryman for three years. Home of Record: Cook, Minnesota.

Mr. Tonheim served in the Pacific Theater for fifteen months as a member of the 383rd Infantry Regiment, 96th Infantry Division and rose to the rank of Sergeant.

He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with four battle stars and the Phillipine Liberation Ribbon.

Mr. Tonheim was honorably discharged at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.

Mr. Tonheim died August 20th, 2006.
