George Edmond 'T'. Thill was born on October 15th 1921. He entered the U.S. Army on January 14th 1941 as a Private (PVT). Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.
PVT Thill served with Battery B of the 125th Field Artillery Battalion of the 34th Infantry Division in Ireland, North Africa, and Italy.
Mr. Thill was killed in action on April 23rd 1945, during an ambush while serving as a forward observer in Bologna, Po Valley, Italy. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota.
