Frank Rudolph Vegar was born on October 5th 1926 in Duluth, Minnesota to John & Katherine Vegar. He graduated from high school in 1944.
Mr. Vegar served in World War II in the U.S. Navy from September 27th 1944, until June 11th 1946.
He was assigned to the USS Le Hardy (DE-20) and USS Rupertus (DD-851). Mr. Vegars’ rank was Fireman First Class.
After the war he married Louise Mary (nee Matkovich) on August 26th 1952.
