FRASER, Donald McPherson
Donald McPherson Fraser of Duluth, Minnesota enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard on September 15th 1932.
He was activated on February 10th 1941 and served as a Staff Sergeant (SSGT) with Service Battery of the 125th Field Artillery of the 34th Infantry Division in Salerno and Cassino, Italy; and Africa.
SGT Fraser was awarded the following for his service:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with 3 bronze battle stars,
- American Defense Service Medal, -and-
- World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on March 29th 1945 at Percy Jones Army General Hospital, Camp Custer, Michigan..
