Didace R. Venne

Didace R. Venne was inducted into the Army on March 28, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Mountain Iron, Minnesota.

Mr. Venne served as a Sergeant and small boat operator in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska.

He was awarded the following: American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Venne was honorably discharged on September 7, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
